This page describes the very small amount of browser storage used by antonioortegacouture.com. It complements the privacy policy, which sets out the site's broader position on personal data.
What we store
The site uses exactly one item of browser storage: a small flag placed in your device's localStorage under the key aoc-ck when you dismiss the cookie notice at the foot of the page. The purpose of this flag is to prevent the notice from reappearing on every subsequent page you visit. The flag contains no personal information, no identifier, and no tracking value; its content is the single character "1", which is meaningful only to the small piece of JavaScript that reads it.
What we do not store
We do not set any cookies of our own. We do not use analytics platforms (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no self-hosted equivalent). We do not embed advertising tags, retargeting pixels, or social-media tracking widgets. We do not use fingerprinting scripts. We do not maintain user accounts, and we do not therefore need to remember who you are across visits.
Third-party requests
The pages of this site load web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser makes those requests, Google will receive the standard headers accompanying any HTTP request — including your IP address and user-agent — and its own privacy practices apply. If this is a concern, you may either block requests to those domains at the browser level (with, for example, an extension such as uBlock Origin) or use a browser that includes such protections by default. The site will remain fully readable without the fonts; only the typography will fall back to your device's default serif and sans-serif.
How to clear what little we do store
The aoc-ck flag is removed the moment you clear browsing data in your browser. Every major browser exposes a menu that allows you to clear cookies and site data either for a specific site or across the board. If you would prefer that the cookie notice re-appear next time you visit, deleting site data for antonioortegacouture.com is sufficient.
Changes to this page
If we ever add anything more substantial than the current single-flag arrangement — which we do not anticipate — this page will be updated in advance of that change and the modification will be noted with a new "last updated" date at the top.
